Packing light for 2 days and 2 nights

Back in September I attended and participated in the spooks panel of Suits and Spooks. I spent 2 nights and 2 days in San Francisco.

In the Pack-it folder I had a nice shirt and a pair of khakis that I brought just in case I would need something nice, I wasn’t sure what the dress code was. It turned out to be casual so it sat there, unworn.

I packed:

  • 1 pair of khakis
  • 1 button shirt
  • 1 fleece vest
  • 1 pair of underwear (washed over in the shower at the hotel every night)
  • 2 pairs of socks
  • 1 tshirt
  • 1 pair of shoes
  • Toiletries.

I worn on the flights and to the conference:

  • 1 polo shirt
  • 1 tshirt (under the polo)
  • 1 pair of jeans

I had a lot of stuff I didn’t wear, but, as I mentioned, I didn’t know the dress code and I couldn’t prepare for it.

based on what I did during that weekend if I had to pack now I would leave my GR1 at home and bring either the Echo or the Radio Ruck and just pack half of what I brought.
